Access to Information
While the majority of records held by the Board are a matter of public record, some information is protected by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. That act provides an opportunity to seek records from public bodies subject to submitting applicable requests and fees. In an effort to reduce the administrative burden involved in getting certain types of routine records the government requires departments, agencies, boards and commissions to have a simplified application process. This process is set out in the Board's Routine Access Policy.
